RULES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

I am extremely pleased to be offering a place in your community where everyone can come to dance for fun, fitness, cultural enrichment, or just to get a break from the stress of daily life! It is my mission to offer a relaxed and non-competitive environment.

Below are some rules announcements.  Please, check our website frequently as I try to update it as often as I can.  In order to help things run as smoothly as possible, and we can spend time dancing instead of dealing with other issues, please observe the following policies:

1)  No one is permitted in the studio during classes, except participants enrolled in class for that period.  NO OBSERVERS, except with prior approval from Iara Kendrick.

2)  No food or drinks in the dance floor.

3)  Unless you are expecting a crucial phone call, please turn off your phone.

4) If you must chat during class (including phone) please, go outside.

5)  For your own and everyone’s safety ABSOLUTELY NO RUNNING. 

6)  Street shoes are not permitted on the dance floor.

7)  If you have any concerns,  please talk to me about them. Also, please keep information confidential about other members of the class.  Our class is a relaxed place where we may share personal information and it must remain within our walls. Respect each other.

8)  Payment is made on a 4 consecutive classes basis, and must be made prior to the first class.  NO REFUNDS are made for absences during the contracted period.  Within the following month, every effort will be made to let you join a comparable class.  This must be with prior approval and depends on the size of the class.

9)    Performance is NEVER mandatory, but we like to encourage everyone to do so.  We do expect that all MAC students attend with friends and family to support our  dancing family.
